Diaphragm expansion joints and bellows
Diaphragm bellows and Diaphragm expansion joints by “Kompenz”
Diaphragm bellows are designed to work as tough sensing element as a part of special equipment.
Corrugations of welded bellows are circle diaphragms of the assigned profile connected between each other with argon arc welding. They have essential advantages over seamless bellows: bigger expansion stroke, longer operational life time, lower toughness range etc.
Welded plate-type bellows are in serial production.
Diaphragms and measuring metal diaphragm blocks
Diaphragms, boxes and measuring metal diaphragm blocks are designed for pressure measuring devices as sensing elements, though they can be used as dividers of two environments and as flexible seals for displacement within pressure and vacuum areas.
Metal measuring diaphragms are produced from alloy 36NiCrTiAl and beryllium copper BrC.
Metal measuring diaphragms are produced with the diameters from 20 to 127 mm with the thickness from 0,045 to 0,32 mm.
One- and two-layer measuring metal bellows by “Kompenz”
One- and two-layer measuring metal bellows are designed to work as tough sensing element in the measuring equipment, controlling and adjustment devices of different constructions, they are used for measuring pressure transformation into the displacement. Besides they are used as compensators (bellows expansion joints) and environments dividers in different bellows units.
Metal measuring bellows are produced from alloy 36NiCrTiAl, beryllium copper BrC, stainless steel 12Х18Н10Т and brass Brass-80.
There are more than 150 dimension types of measuring metal bellows with diameters from 9 to 100 mm with the thickness of walls from 0,08 to 0,25 mm, suitable for work in the non-corrosive environments with the following temperatures:
- from 213 to 473 К (–60...+200°С) – for bellows made of alloy 36NiCrTiAl;
- from 213 to 373 К (–60...+100°С) – for bellows made of beryllium copper BrC and low brass Brass-80;
- from 373 to 673 К (–200...+400°С) – for bellows made of stainless steel 12Х18Н10Т.
